No Period & No Baby? You May Not Be Ovulating!
A Talk by Joseph Davis DO, FACOG (Cayman Fertility Centre)
About this Talk
Not getting your period when trying to conceive is not always a good thing. Irregular menstrual cycles can make timing sex difficult but also can be a sign of other hormone imbalances and even the onset of menopause. In this talk you will learn about what can cause periods to stop or become longer, also called “anovulation”. Some of these causes are treatable but all should be a trigger to see a reproductive endocrinologist, even if you are not trying for a baby right now. Your future fertility can be impacted by anovulation depending on the cause.
