PCOS is many times referred to as a hormonal issue, but its implications go way beyond just hormones. It affects hormones, fertility, skin, cardiovascular health, and metabolism. PCOS is a metabolic issue. PCOS affects 1 in 10 women. Women with PCOS are often time diagnosed as infertile and put directly into fertility drugs and treatment. However, PCOS is not an infertility diagnosis. Let's dig into the why.
