Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) has a dizzying array of manifestations, symptoms and health problems, leaving many undiagnosed for years and resulting in challenges in getting appropriate treatment. It’s crucial that the implications of PCOS for the 1 in 5 women who will be diagnosed are understood and that the importance for funding are advocated for rigorously and appropriately.
