About this Talk
For many of us, the most difficult challenge we’ve had to face is infertility. We spend years dreaming of becoming a Supermom to the perfect baby who falls asleep each night to our lullabies and cheerfully wakes up each morning ready to snuggle. When we finally become parents through pregnancy, adoption, or becoming a stepparent, we run into the shocking discovery that raising humans is, in fact, its own challenge. Attendees to this talk will learn how to develop realistic expectations for parenting by focusing on truth, mindfulness, and humor.
